Dermal Fillers
Non-surgical · Dermal Fillers

Volume,well placed.

Cheeks, lips, mid-face, jawline — using only HA-based, FDA-approved Q-Med and Allergan products.

I — Overview

Dermal fillers replace volume lost to ageing, augment proportions, and refine contours. We work exclusively with hyaluronic-acid (HA) fillers — they are reversible (with hyaluronidase) and integrate naturally into tissue. We never use permanent fillers.

The consultation

We assess your facial structure as a whole — not isolated areas. Often the right answer is to add volume to the cheek to lift the mid-face, rather than chasing the line directly. We will tell you when less is more, and we will sometimes refuse requests that would cause harm.

Our approach

We use Restylane (Q-Med), Juvederm (Allergan), and Teosyal — choosing product by area: firmer fillers (Restylane Lyft, Juvederm Volux) for deep cheek and jaw; softer fillers (Restylane Kysse, Volbella) for lips and tear troughs. We use cannula or needle depending on safety and precision.

The procedure

Forty-five-minute appointment, performed by a medical injector. Topical anaesthetic plus the lidocaine in the filler itself. Discomfort is minimal; most patients find the procedure comfortable.

Recovery

Mild swelling for one to three days; bruising possible (more so with needle than cannula). No exercise, alcohol, or sauna for 24 hours. Final integration at two weeks.

Frequently asked

Nine months to eighteen months depending on product and area. Lips and high-movement areas metabolise fastest; cheeks and jawline last longest. Some structural fillers (Volux) last over two years.
Not from us. We use less than reflex would suggest, and we work to your face's natural proportion rather than fashion-driven extremes. Done well, fillers should be invisible — only that you look better.
Yes — HA fillers can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if you don't like the result. This is a major reason we use HA exclusively.
Tear-trough filler is technically demanding and not appropriate for everyone. We assess underlying anatomy carefully — some patients are better served by mid-face support, blepharoplasty, or simply leaving it alone.
Properly placed in the right plane, no. Lip filler that has 'travelled' above the lip line is almost always over-filled, not poorly placed. We use less, more precisely, to avoid this.
Vascular occlusion is the major risk — rare with experienced injectors using cannulae but always discussed in consultation. We carry hyaluronidase on-site for immediate management if needed.
