Breast lift to reposition the nipple-areola complex and tighten the skin envelope — with or without an implant.
Mastopexy lifts and reshapes breasts that have descended due to age, weight change, or pregnancy. The volume isn't usually the problem — the position and skin envelope are. Lift can be done alone or paired with augmentation when both volume and position need addressing.
The consultation
We assess ptosis (the degree of droop) using the standard Regnault grading. We will tell you honestly whether a lift alone is enough, or whether an implant alongside the lift is needed to restore upper-pole fullness.
Our approach
Vertical (lollipop) for moderate ptosis; anchor (Wise pattern) for greater descent. We avoid peri-areolar-only lifts in most patients — they tend to produce wide, flat areolae that age poorly. Our incisions follow natural shadow lines and fade well over twelve months.
The procedure
Two to three hours under general anaesthetic. You will spend one night in hospital under nursing observation, then move to your recovery villa.
Recovery
Soreness for five to seven days; surgical bra for six weeks. We ask you to remain on the island for ten to fourteen days. Final shape settles over six months as the tissues redistribute.
