Open or closed approach to refine the nasal profile, balance, and breathing — performed under general anaesthetic.
Rhinoplasty reshapes the nose for either aesthetic balance or improved breathing — often both. Our surgeons favour a conservative, structure-preserving approach: the goal is a nose that looks like yours, refined, rather than a nose that announces it has been operated on. Most patients are between three and six months from surgery before the result fully settles.
The consultation
Every rhinoplasty journey begins with a private video consultation. We will review your concerns from three angles, take a careful airway history, and discuss whether your breathing — septal deviation, valve collapse, turbinate hypertrophy — should be addressed at the same time. Most consultations take forty-five minutes; many do not lead to surgery, and we are at peace with that.
Our approach
We perform both open (with a small columellar incision) and closed (entirely intra-nasal) rhinoplasty. The choice depends on what your nose needs — not on a surgeon's preference. We use cartilage-preserving techniques, and we shape rather than reduce wherever possible. Tissue once removed cannot be returned.
The procedure
A primary rhinoplasty takes between three and four hours, performed under general anaesthetic in our ACHSI-accredited theatres. You will spend a single night in the hospital under nursing observation, then move to your private recovery villa the following morning.
Recovery
An external splint stays for seven days; mild bruising under the eyes resolves within ten to fourteen. We ask you to remain on the island for fourteen days post-procedure, with daily nursing visits in the first week. Final shape settles between six and twelve months.
