Considered,your own.

Sub-muscular or sub-glandular implant placement using FDA-approved devices, sized in consultation with the result in mind.

I — Overview

Breast augmentation increases breast size and refines shape using FDA-approved silicone or saline implants. Our surgeons emphasise proportion above volume — the most natural, longest-lasting result almost always comes from a smaller implant well-placed, rather than a larger one fighting your anatomy.

The consultation

We take careful measurements of breast width, projection, and skin envelope, then size implants to match — not a number you've seen elsewhere. We use 3D simulation where helpful and rice-bag try-ins so you can see and feel the proposed result. Many patients leave their consultation choosing a smaller implant than they arrived expecting.

Our approach

We place implants either sub-muscular (under the pectoralis major) or sub-glandular (under the breast tissue). Sub-muscular generally gives a more natural upper-pole slope and reduces visible rippling; sub-glandular is sometimes appropriate for athletic patients with adequate soft-tissue cover. We use round, smooth, silicone implants for nearly all patients.

The procedure

Performed under general anaesthetic, the procedure takes between ninety minutes and two hours. You will spend a single night in the hospital under nursing observation, then move to your private recovery villa the following morning.

Recovery

Soreness and chest tightness for the first three to five days, easing significantly by day seven. We ask you to remain on the island for ten to fourteen days. No upper-body exercise for six weeks. Implants settle into final position over six months.

Frequently asked

The right size is the one your anatomy can comfortably support. We size in millilitres rather than cup sizes, and almost always recommend conservative — patients who size up later have many fewer regrets than patients who size up first.
Silicone (cohesive gel) feels more natural and shows fewer ripples. Saline is slightly cheaper and any rupture is immediately obvious. We recommend silicone for most patients.
Most augmented patients breastfeed without difficulty. Inframammary (under-breast) and trans-axillary (underarm) approaches preserve glandular function better than peri-areolar incisions, which we generally avoid.
Modern implants are warranted indefinitely against rupture but realistically may need replacement at fifteen to twenty years. They are not lifetime devices.
Our rates are below 5% at two years — we use textured pockets, antibiotic irrigation, and Keller funnel insertion. We monitor every patient at the one-year mark and beyond.
Yes — 'mommy makeover' combined cases are common, but we are conservative about combining long procedures. We will discuss whether one or two visits is safer in your case.
