Returned,quietly.

Follicular unit extraction with sapphire blades — most common hair-restoration procedure.

I — Overview

Sapphire FUE harvests individual hair follicles from the donor area (back and sides of the scalp) using a tiny, sapphire-bladed punch, then implants them one at a time into thinning areas. It leaves no linear scar and produces an entirely natural result when designed well.

The consultation

We perform trichoscopy — high-resolution scalp examination — to assess donor density, recipient demand, and miniaturisation. We also discuss your family history. Hair loss is progressive in most patients; the design accounts for what your hair will look like in twenty years, not just five.

Our approach

Sapphire blades create smaller, smoother recipient sites than steel — better graft survival and healing. We design hairlines that respect what your face has always done; the most common error in hair restoration is a too-low or too-straight hairline that ages poorly.

The procedure

Seven to nine hours under local anaesthetic in our hair-restoration suite. Breaks for meals; many patients listen to music, take calls, or sleep. Two thousand to three thousand grafts in a single day; larger cases are staged across two consecutive days.

Recovery

Mild crusting for three to five days; donor area heals at ten days. We ask you to remain on the island for seven days. First growth at three to four months; final density at twelve to fifteen months.

Pricing

Indicative packages, in Australian dollars and Indonesian rupiah. Every plan is priced individually after consultation.

Frequently asked

A typical hairline restoration is 1,800-3,000 grafts; full-pattern restoration may require 4,000-5,500, often staged. We give you a precise estimate after trichoscopy.
The transplanted follicles are taken from areas that don't lose hair — they're permanent. But the hair you weren't transplanted may continue to thin; we typically pair surgery with a maintenance medication regimen.
Sapphire FUE leaves no linear scar. The donor area will show tiny dot scars under very close inspection (closer than 5mm) but is invisible at conversational distance, even with very short hair.
Initial growth at three to four months; substantial density at six to nine months; final result at twelve to fifteen months. The transplanted hairs first shed (normal, expected) before regrowing.
Yes — women with patterned thinning are increasingly good candidates. We are careful about donor area density in women, who typically have less reserve than men.
Yes — when designed well. Our lead trichologist personally designs every hairline. We will show you the design, on your face, before we make a single incision.
